MID DAY MEAL PROGRAME-2006
Installation Procedure at District Level

Prerequisite:

Ψ      System with windows XP or Windows 2000 with IIS(Internet Information Services) services running.

   To  verify and Install IIS (Internet Information Services).

 Step1. Go to START –> SETTINGS —> CONTROL PANEL —> Add Or Remove Programs.

Step2. On the left side of the appeared window there is Add/Remove Windows Component –Click on it.

Step3. In few second windows component wizard Appears.

Step4. Please verify in component list IIS option should be checked. ( If
           checked , means IIS services ate installed and running go directly to
             point 2

Step5. If it is not check then check it and go to Next.

Step6. Wizard ask for window-XP CD or path for it.

Step7. Do that, it will install IIS in your Computer.

This will create the folder C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\

IF operating system is windows 98

         Install PWS(Personal Web Server ) on the computer

Step1. Insert windows 98 CD

Step2. Move to folder Addons/PWS

Step3. Start Setup( Double click on file setup)

Step4. Reboot the machine

This will create the folder C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\

Ψ      Office 2000 on the system with date format UK (DD/MM/YYYY)
Start Menu—>Setting —>Control Panel—>Regional Options—>Date—> (Make Changes Here)  

Ψ      Utility WinZip on the System

First Time Installation

1)      Copy folder MDMOnDist in your C:\Inetpub\wwwroot  directory Open Internet Explorer and type

http://localhost/MDMOnDist/Index.htm

Regular Updation of Programs

1)      Copy latest files collected from State centre on CD  to your C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ MDMOnDist directory 

2)      If CD contains file MDMOnDist.zip  then unzip the file in  C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ MDMOnDist directory
